TREESPOTTING: An Event of Sorts. 2009

Threaded ED8, The Home Front. Tanya Eccleston & Monique Redmond

Collaborative project with Tanya Eccleston (artist/writer) produced over a 3-month period for Threaded ED.8 (The Home Front). TREESPOTTING is both a document of our suburban Auckland springtime, and a testimony to our shared love of growing things out front. The project "chronicles an event of sorts: a drive-by shooting and an expedition - a treespotting outing, undertaken over many weeks, that documents an ongoing conversation between two artists seeking out the flowering of trees in and around our local suburban streets." (Jul-Sep 09).
